The MapIE Horizon Europe Project Held Its Consortium Meeting in Szeged

Between 21 and 23 April 2026, Szeged hosted the consortium meeting of theMapIE – Mapping of Longitudinal Data of Inequalities in Education Horizon Europe project. During the meeting, the project partners reviewed the current status of the project and discussed both the work completed so far and the tasks to be carried out in the next phase.

The Hungarian partner institution in the project, the University of Szeged, was represented by Gyöngyvér Molnár, Attila Pásztor, Edit Tóth, and Balázs Munkácsy.

Participants of the consortium meeting also took an active part in the programme of the 22nd Conference on Educational Assessment. Ronny Scherer, Professor at the University of Oslo, delivered the conference keynote lecture, while Mari-Pauliina Vainikainen, Professor at the University of Tampere, participated in the roundtable discussion on the role of artificial intelligence in education. In addition, two symposia and one thematic presentation related to the project were also included in the conference programme.
