Visit of the Tallinn University Delegation to the Institute of Education

A delegation from Tallinn University visited our Institute within the framework of the EdTech Talents international project, where we had useful and inspiring professional discussions on current issues in digital education.

During the visit, our guests  - Aija Sakova, Kadri Mettis, Merle Pajus, Sirly Väät, Ádám Horváth, and Balázs Pethő - gained an overview of the national and international projects related to digital technologies carried out by the Institute of Education of the University of Szeged and the MTA–SZTE Research Group on Digital Learning Technologies. Among others, Gyöngyvér Molnár, Attila PásztorEdit Tóth and Gilbert Langat Cheruiyot presented the eDia online diagnostic assessment and development platform and provided an overview of the Szeged Longitudinal Program, the University Competency Assessments, the MapIE Horizon Europe project focusing on educational inequalities, as well as a previous collaboration with researchers from the University of Helsinki and a recent research project in Kenya.

The meeting provided an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas on the future of digital learning environments, skills development, and educational innovation. We hope that this professional dialogue will lead to further joint research, development projects, and international collaborations in the future.
